Manuscripts submitted to Proofig, either as PDFs or as image files that are automatically converted to PDFs, can have a maximum file size of 50 MB. They should not exceed 100 pages and are limited to a total of 350 subimages. This allows for flexibility in submission formats while ensuring efficient processing.

Proofig can analyze a wide range of images, including Microscopies (confocal, light, fluorescence, electron), Histology Slides, Pathology Slides, Western Blot Bands, Gel Electrophoresis, Flow Cytometry (FC), Fluorescence Activated Cell Sorting (FACS), Cell Culture, in-vitro, in-vivo images, and more.

Proofig is capable of detecting full and partial duplications, rotations, flipping, scaling, and cloning in images.

Proofig offers a variety of image filters for analysis, including Color Filters for hue and intensity adjustments, Mathematical Filters like 'Emboss' for detailed western blot analyses, and Enhancement Filters with options such as 'histogram equalization' for improved clarity in detecting alterations.
